the right questions

A practical guide to planning a geophysical investigation.

What can GPR detect?

Depending on site conditions and target properties, GPR can help identify buried utilities, reinforcement, voids and other near-surface features. Not every target produces a clear response.

When is ERT useful?

ERT can help assess variations in subsurface resistivity for geological, groundwater, environmental and slope investigations. Its interpretation requires geological and site context.

How deep can a survey see?

There is no single depth for every site. Penetration and resolution depend on the method, equipment, survey layout and ground conditions. We assess the expected range during planning.

How long will the survey take?

Duration depends on area, access, survey density, ground conditions and the required deliverables. Share your site details for a project-specific assessment.

What information should I provide?

Provide the location, survey objectives, site drawings if available, area of interest, access constraints and preferred timeline.

Are findings guaranteed to identify every buried feature?

No geophysical method can guarantee detection of every feature. Results have limitations and may require complementary investigation or direct verification.
